Letters of Samuel Longfellow, 1881-1888.

In a letter, 1881 March 18, to an unidentified recipient, Longfellow claims authorship of a hymn. In a letter, 1888 October 8, London, to Mrs. Thomas Potts James he blames a clerk's error for the non-receipt of her letters, and adds that he has visited some cathedrals, and Yorkshire, the home of his ancestors.
